Anna (they/them) is a queer artist and art therapist from Naarm (Melbourne). Their approach to creativity is slow, messy and responsive to the sensory world around them. Anna explore themes of softness, grief, time and temporality in their paintings with acrylic and oil pastel on recycled paper. Recently Anna's creative practice has returned to stitching and painting on fabric, layering colourful threads in random repetitive patterns.

During the residency Anna hopes to rest and return to writing, reading and soft water colours. They hope to go on walks and draw the landscape...and see what happens.
