Casey Freeman in residence

caseyworkingCasey Freeman undertook a 10 day residency at 1450 in February 2017. She made sure she was in the 1450 studio working early every morning as she had her partner and three year old staying with her, who she spent time with in the afternoon. Casey works with just one colour ink on thick card creating images of land, sky and forests. The work is made quickly as the paper needs to remain wet and, because of the local environmental conditions, these images represent the time and the space in which they are made. You can see an example of the way Casey works at https://casey-freeman-art.myshopify.com/pages/about-usThanks Casey - it was good to have you all here.
