Monica is an elementary art teacher and has been teaching art for 28 years in Kentucky public schools. She also owns The Pottery of Park Hills--a pottery studio and gallery.
I am a potter at heart who loves to paint landscapes. My favourite landscape subjects are Tasmania and the park in my neighbourhood- Devou Park. I was a finalist in the 2023 Glover Art Prize. I hope to explore the area around All That We Are and other parts of Tasmania I have not yet visited. I wish to get inspired and hopefully, fingers crossed, I can create a landscape painting to enter in the Glover Art Prize.
