Nine creatives from Melbourne and Jeonju, Korea, come together at All That We Are for the final stage of Seedling Sessions, an ongoing cross-cultural artist exchange presented by ArtPlay and Jeonju Cultural Foundation.
During their residency, the group will further develop Imaginations Aglow, a series of interactive and participatory creative play experiences for children and families, alongside an artist learning session to be presented as part of Melbourne Fringe.
Working across cultures, languages and creative practices, the artists have been collaborating between Jeonju and Melbourne, exploring new ways of creating with and for children. Their time in Tasmania offers space to make, test, reflect and simply spend time together, while connecting with Tasmania's nature, culture and arts community.
Seedling Sessions grows from a six-year creative partnership between ArtPlay and Jeonju Cultural Foundation, which also created Shadows in Twin Cities, nominated for the 2026 Asia Pacific Arts Awards. The Seedling Sessions 25/26 is supported by Creative Australia's International engagement fund.
